Umang Shah is multifaceted Environmental Engineer and sustainability consultant dedicated to driving positive change in Environmental and Social responsibility. Umang began his academic journey at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai Where he earned his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering. His passion led him to pursue further studies at National University of Singapore (NUS). According to Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) world university ranking NUS ranks 8^TH in the World and 1^ST in Asia, where he obtained a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering. His exceptional academic performance earned him recognition and accolades, including a top ranking position among his peers. His academic prowess and dedication to excellence were rewarded with a prestigious scholarship, acknowledging his outstanding achievements and potential in the field. Throughout his academic career, Umang developed a keen interest in waste management, particularly in the management of hazardous waste and E- waste. His research efforts resulted in the publication of five International Research Papers in leading Scopus Index Journals. After completing his Masters, Umang embarked on a professional journey. Umang’s early career was sharped by his tenure where he gained invaluable experience in documentation, EIA, legal work. He then honed his knowledge in TSDF, Pre-Processing, Co-Processing of hazardous waste. Now he wants to work under Venture Capitalist and in ESG Domain. Beyond his professional endeavors, Umang is deeply committed to Environmental awareness and community engagement. He actively participates in outreach programs and volunteer initiatives aimed at promoting Environmental conservation and sustainable living practices.
